What is Mindfulness?
I like the Wikipedia definition
"Mindfulness is the psychological process of bringing one's attention to experiences occurring in the present moment".
When I think of my own mindfulness practice it is just that. I am directing my attention on what is going on in the moment, whether it be a situation, an emotion and or just a thought that I want to look at.
Mindfulness practice is a way of easing worry or a way of easing stress. If I find myself stressed or worried about something, anything, I can practice a mindfulness technique. Mindfulness techniques can consist on mindfulness meditation focusing on mindful breathing or mindful observation. mindfulness is a source of happiness.
